I’ve been on a bit of a hiatus recently due to being a bit torn about continuing to shoot “ruin porn” where this is so much more to our city than this. I love the beauty in the breakdown shit as much as the next person but…yeah something more positive needs to be showcased not just here, but in more places all over the interwebz.

My style at the moment is very eclectic as you can see. I find beauty in everything and love finding new ways of expressing that. Much of what I love is the broken down, abandoned, and forgotten and I photograph it mainly as a way to preserve the history of these places many of which had an important place in building Detroit.

In the coming year I hope to expand into portraiture and promotional photography and just keep having fun.
